How it started

17 September

In a pre-festival conversation, Fyora mentions a faerie named Kaia.

19 September

We meet Kaia.

In her Neopedia article we learn she is from Shenkuu and wants to join the Faerieland Academy.

20 September

The Faerie Festival begins.
During the Festival, Kaia runs a game called 'Wing It".

Released prematurely (and quickly taken down), Wraith Resurgence Chests were briefly visible in the NC Mall:

This gave a big clue and the possible name for this plot.

26 September

On the last day, if you had met the requirements you received an avatar:

This avatar gave us another clue as what was to come.

27 September

The festival came to a close with Queen Fyora making a proclamation that the Festival had been destroyed by unknown miscreants.
The Destroyed Faerie Festival site theme was given at midnight as soon as you entered Neopets.

This theme gave us another good clue that the wraiths were up to no good.

In the news:
Something is not right here, the Faerie Festival has been shut down?! What does this all mean? For now, all we have is this official notice from Fyora, which has us thinking that it might be time to get your Neopets ready for battle!

29 September

TNT released an image on Facebook and Instagram (available to view under the Hub), giving us a glimpse of what was to come.

4 October

A video is released and apparently shows us what the yurble saw, which was the wraiths destroying the Festival.

11 October

Trudy's Surprise Slot Machine - New Daily!

Trudy's Surprise Slot Machine is a new Neopets Dailies! We're unclear at this point if this will be an ongoing daily or a fixed-term event, all we have available are the below five questions on the subject!

• How often can I use Trudy's Surprise Slot Machine?
  Trudy's Surprise Slot Machine can be played once a day. It will be available on all pages, but will disappear once it has been used, and will not be shown again in the same 24-hour period. The day will reset at 00:00:00 NST.


• How many Neopoints will I earn each time I use Trudy's Surprise?
  The amount of Neopoints awarded will keep increasing for each consecutive day you play! Each day you come back and spin again, you can increase your prize. If you play 25 consecutive days, you could win 100,000 Neopoints, then the counter is reset to Day 1 to work your way up again!


• I got less Neopoints today from Trudy's Surprise than yesterday. What happened? 
  The prize pool resets if you miss a day, or after 25 consecutive days.


• The Terrifyingly Bad Luck bonus sounds terrifying. What is it?
  The Terrifyingly Bad Luck Bonus is awarded for having, well, bad luck. If you play and your slots machine shows up 4 different items, you have the chance of being awarded extra points. However, you can only win this bonus once in a while. So, if you have Terrifyingly Bad Luck more than once within a week, well, that's just worse than terrifyingly bad luck and even we can't help you.


• Does Trudy's Surprise reward only Neopoints? Are there any bonus prizes?
  There is a chance to receive an bonus NC prize!

Okay, due to proof of having events in recent years that are NC based, I'm going to have to agree with you, loveisafireescape. 

Though there was some question in a recent editorial about having a new neopoint and not-NC based event sometime soon, wasn't there?

Though with Jumpstart, even though they aren't Nickelodeon and also have those huge issues with payment issues, like - I can still see this being an NC event. And going back on the not mixing NC/np rule. And doing it in such a grotesque way.
